Healthy Thinking - Effective Reflective

Good morning all. It's really an amazing day here in Johannesburg and it's all because of God.

We sometimes forget to notice these small things and thank God for them. The air we breathe. The fact that we can see, walk and talk. Before we carry on I would love for you to quickly think of something that you are greatful for and thank daddy God for it.

The title of today's blog is Effective Reflective

I believe there are three keys to being an effective Christian. Being effective is important otherwise potential and energy is wasted. We are to model our lives around that of Christ and live the way He did.

First key - Giving Well. We are to give well as believers. This is a principal that was instituted by God millennia ago because of the seed time harvest effect. When we give we receive. The bible says it is more blessed to give then to receive Acts 20v35. When we give well we reflect the nature of God as he gave very well. His only son. Believers sometimes have it backwards due to being programmed by the world system saying "first receive, then give". God says other wise give then you will receive. I personally don't give and then expect to receive. I give out of a mind set that says I've given God says it will come back. Luke 6v38.

Second Key - Serve well. Servant hood is what we base our faith on. Jesus says that he did not come to be served as the King of heaven and earth. But he came to serve. Matt20v28. A pastor once told me that you spell LEADER as S-E-R V-E-N-T. Our heart should be to serve at our local ministry, serve our spouse, serve our parents and serve our communities, serve our boss and business's.  By serving we reflect the heart of Jesus.

Third Key - Love well. Jesus was the absolute best at loving. He loved all that came to him. Even to his last breath he loved the mockers and haters. On the cross he asked God to forgive them. Luke 23v34. What kind of love is this. Jesus loved the unlovely and when asked which of the commandments given by God to Moses he summed them all up in one. Love. Love God, love people.

Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40 KJV)

My friends be encouraged to do these following steps

Give Well
Serve Well
Love Well

Do these to effectively reflect Jesus. He is who the world needs most

Love you much.

Now Go

Healthy Thinking Day 33 - Let the Redeemed of The Lord

Well once again I say God is so Good. I hope you are blessed as you read this.

Many a time we walk out the door and we say "don't drive with your window open cause it's unsafe" or "I'm so scared of being mugged" even thou you have never been mugged. This is an important principal to learn today as this could help you and others out of a fear mentality.

There is a saying that says "all the small foxes destroy the vine." This is so true because we don't speak something once and instantly believe it. It takes constant repetition for us to start believing it. Those small words spoken will sooner or later grow out of controle and cause disaster.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; (Psalms 107:2 KJV)

This scripture challenges. If I had to put it into a question it would be like this.

Has The Lord redeemed you?? If so tell the world about it. Don't let the word you speak against and contradict that redemption.!!!!

If you are fearful today about being mugged, hijacked, death or anything that goes against what God says speak faith. Yes. Let the redeemed of The Lord say so. If you are redeemed you are bought with an unbelievable price.

Now I can hear my wife saying to me but stuff like that happens even thou people don't speak it. Yet that's true but they are still the redeemed. I'm not saying go drive around in a bad area with your windows down and in surtain cases be unwise. What I'm saying is if you realize that you are redeemed your thought life will be a whole lot better with less stress when your faced with a person standing at your window just asking for cash and you think he or she is there to mug you. All the fear starts in the mind and ends up showing itself in all other areas of your life.

So as you read this say it out loud.

I am the Redeemed.

Now Go.

Healthy Thinking Day 32 - Building your foundation right.

What an amazing weekend I've had. Privileged to serve our youth in worship and then on Sunday what an amazing service we had.

Today I want to talk about build your foundation right.

Matthew 7:24-29(NKJV)

Build on the Rock

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

When a builder stats to build, he doesn't just put up a wall and a roof. The foundation has to be laid first as to take the weight of the building. the deeper the foundation the bigger the building structure. the foundation is probably the most important thing in a building structure. When we build our lives we build it with the word of God and our foundation needs to be supper strong. Jesus is said to be the rock in the scripture. A rock that can not be moved. The rock when to the depths of the earth to reclaim the keys of sin and death. I would dare say that's a pretty deep foundation.

Once foundation is laid the builders would then start with the walls and pillars to hold the weight. There are guide lines that have to be followed as to where the walls may be built. If the wall is being built inside the edge of the foundation then the resident of the house will be done in with space as it steals inches and those all add up. in the same why if we have a foundation the size of a football field yet we only build a single room on it we are doing ourselves in. build your life to its full potential using every single inch to its full potential. Delve deep into the word of God never stop building.

Now on the other hand if we build on the outside of the guide lines of the foundation we defeat the object of having the foundation. In this way I see Christians building their own thing wanting to base it on the Rock. Don't do that because it will fail and sink.

Friends build well, build consistently and build correctly. In this way we will always have Jesus as our sure foundation and He will never fail.

Love you much.

Now Go

Healthy Thinking Day 31 - Prayer Requests

Good morning friends. Thank you for reading my blogs as it's a humbling experience being able to share the Gospel of our lord and saviour Jesus.  Today I would love for your interaction. Ill be praying this afternoon and would love for you to send me your prayer requests. I will lift the up before God and stand in agreement with you for what ever it is you may need.
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:19 KJV)

I truly believe that there is no distance in the spiritual and that once we pray for one another that God will move on our behalf.

So please don't hesitate to send those requests. No need to big or small. God will come through for you.

Send your requests to blessedlifesa@gmail.com

I will pray and respond.

Love and appreciate you all so much.

Now Go.

Healthy Thinking Day 30 - Killing Machine

I've spoken about this topic many times to my friends and would really like to share is with you today.

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Some may know the power of the tongue and some my not. As the scripture says life and death are in the power of the tongue. Many believe this is talking about your spiritual walk and that it has nothing to do with the everyday walk you have as a Christian.

I read a book called "The Power of the subconscious mind" and in this book the writer tells a story of a letter he had receive from a man. The man had a daughter who was born with a terminal illness. This man loved his daughter so much that he kept saying that he would give his left arm to see her healed. Every where he went, every one he saw he would relay the story about his sick daughter and end up saying that he would give his left arm to see her healed. As things happen this man found himself in a car accident and lost his left arm and his daughter was healed.

Lets quickly deal with the word Subconscious.
Studies have shown that your subconscious mind is 30 Thousand times stronger than your conscious mind.

In biblical terms our subconscious is actually our spirit man. and Just as God spoke and thing happened so do we have that ability. Paul says Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word. In one of my earlier posts I mentioned this. The continual repetition of your words produce faith or fear. As we see with the man with the sick daughter his words were meant for good but he ended up having so sacrifice his arm where as if he only knew the power of his words could produce life with our sacrifice.

James 3 talks about our tongues being like a rudder that steers a ship. If our tongue is loose our ship will be unbalanced.

My friends today I encourage you to speak life instead of death. When you face a tough situation today let the first words that come out of your mouth be that of life. Speak Gods word rather then speaking negative. Also watch your word because as we saw the man only wanted to see his daughter get better but he lost something in the process.

Love you much.

Feel free to leave comments and share with others.

Healthy Thinking Day 29 - How Great is our God

One of my all time favorite songs. "How great is our God." I love this song for a few reasons. It's easy to play, it's easy to sing to and the words ring true that our God is Great.

This brings me to today's post. I felt it appropriate to declare this to everyone today. God is amazing in all his ways. He is never late, never wrong and always has the best in mind for His people. God is for us and not against us. He is thinking of us every moment of the day.

I would love you to read this scripture and see how great is our God.

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. (Psalms 145:1-21 KJV).

Declare Gods goodness over all the world today.

Love you much.

Now Go!

Healthy Thinking Day 28 - Paradise Found

Hello my beautiful family. How amazing is our God. Even when we aren't. In the midst of our sin He plucks us out of our mess and puts our feet on solid ground.

If like to encourage you today to minister to someone else if you find yourself in a place of hardship or trouble. If you need love today then give love. If you need friendship then give it. If you need finance then give finance. The word says "as a man sows, so shall he reap." Gal6v7

When we sow an apple seed it would be madness to expect a orange tree to grow. In the same way we can't sow friendship and expect finance to come from it.

My friend do all you can today to make someone else day the best. When we do this we live inline with the word of God. Thus allowing us to live with a kingdom mindset.

Now Go.

Love you much.

Healthy Thinking Day 27 - Salty crack, Light up my life

Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend filled with blessings and the anointing of God as you met with him face to face at church.

Matthew 5:13-16The Message (MSG)

Salt and Light

13 “Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.
14-16 “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

This scripture is what I had on my heart this morning as I was meditating on what to share with the blog today. This is combined with an unbridled passion to see justice in Iraq. I had to ask myself this morning if I was there as a Christian and had kids, would I face the cost of death because my saviour died for me of would I fail him. I guess its easy to say that I would stand against it and die for my belief, but I think of Peter at that moment when he was faced with the same situation he denied Jesus and ran.

My friends We need to pray for the safety of our Christian brothers and sister as well as the salvation of there oppressors. Let me be frank!!!!! God loves the Muslim as much as he loves the Christian. He loves the drug addict as much as the man who has never touch drugs.

You may ask what being the salt and light has to do with what's happening in Iraq right now and I dare say it has everything to do with it. Our Christian family are living as the salt and light. If they weren't they would not have been targeted.

Let me challenge all who read this today to pray for justice in Iraq as well as the salvation of all the Iraq residence. that they may know Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour. May they have an encounter with him.

I love you much.

Now go be the salt and light.

Healthy Thinking Day 26 - Fashion Friday

I like using a play on words so today I'm calling the blog Fashion Friday. In Isaiah 61 v 3 and 10 we are given 3 deferent pieces of cloting. We will look at these items and brake it down.

A garment of Praise Isaiah 61v3
A garment of salvation Isaiah 61v10
A robe of righteousness Isaiah 61v10

First a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. ISAIAH61v3 The word garment means a piece of clothing. It's a form garment that is suitable or needed to be warn to cover one self. Something like a shirt or pants. In the same way Praise is something that has to be warn every day. Praise gets you in to the thrown room of grace. It moves God to dwell in the midst of your praises. Once we wear this Garment it replaces the spirit of heaviness. Jesus says "come to me, all those that labour and are heavy laden." Matt11v28 once again praise gets us into the thrown room. Once we praise we meet with Jesus he in turn takes the weight.

Second a garments of salvation Isaiah 61v10. This garment/garments are also warn every day. Pay attention to the plural statement. There are more then one garment to were.  Salvation is given to us due to the finished work of the cross and we should wear this load and proud for the world to see. We are not saved in our own strength but by the power of love that kept Jesus hanging in the tree. Ephesians 6v17 talks about a helmet of salvation. This helmet is important because our thought life starts in our head. Your thought life will be under attack but with the helmet of salvation the firy arrows will be deflected.

Third a robe a righteousness Isaiah 61v10. This one is awesome. I would wear a robe to show off. In the same way this robe is warn to show off. But not to show of your righteousness. The bible tells us our righteousness is like filth before God. Isaiah 64v6 The righteousness we show off is Gods. Righteousness caries stature with it and has a promise attached to it.  James 5v16 "the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. That's so awesome if you ask me. God gives us this righteousness and the. Says that is will enable our prayer to be powerful and affective.

Now my encouragement. If you are heavy and tired put on your garment of praise and let Jesus lift your burdens.

Salvation is yours never doubt that Jesus has paid the price. Know that your thought life is guarded but the helmet of salvation.

Your prayers will have effect. The bible says so. Keep on praying as you wear the robe of righteousness.

Now Go.

Love you much. Please feel free to leave a comment. I would live to hear from you.

Healthy Thinking Day 25 - it's all about Jesus

I think after a Wednesday night we can always take something out of it or know that you have met with God. Last night was no different. We had such a face to face experience meeting with God. He is amazing. Last night without the deferent member discussing anything the central theme in worship and word was JESUS

John 1:1-5 NKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

What an amazing scripture. We can take courage that even before God made us he already had a back up. His name is Jesus. My heart is overwhelmed at this fact. God knew from the very beginning that he would have to sacrifice his beloved. John1v5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

How amazing is that. I had a vision of the the home group being an amazin light shining into the sky. No darkness could touch us.

Now go and shine bright.

Healthy Thinking Day 24 - Cheese Boy Blues

Today I am starting the blog with a TV ad announcers voice.

Are you frustrated with your day to day living. Does the call of God on your life seem to far away or even impossible??? Well here at Blessed Life SA we have good news for you. We are offering an unlimited package of Grace!

All jokes aside I really felt on my heart today to encourage those who might be struggling to see the call of God fulfilled upon there lives or maybe it seems so unreal or big that it might not be possible.
Lets have a look at David.

Before King David was king, he was a cheese delivery boy, a messenger, a shepherd, loin and a bear killer. As the youngest in his family he was tasked with looking after the sheep. Some may think that its not to serious of a job but I can guarantee you if I meet with a lion whilst looking after the sheep and the choice was between me or the sheep id hand the sheep over. David was very different as he defended the sheep from both the lion and the bear. even in all of the he was still humble as he went about his business. After David was anointed as king he didn't just walk into the palace and take up the thrown. He was placed in the service of the current king. 1 Samuel 16.  David was sent to deliver grain and food to his brothers and cheese to the brother commander and at that point the lion killing shepherd became a giant killing hero. His journey to kingship didn't end there ether, he walked a tough road to becoming king.

To make this very long story short I want to encourage you that your already walking in your calling. David's vocation never changed. He was a shepherd of sheep that went to being a shepherd of men. the point was that he did it all to glorify God. I encourage you today to look at your now and say that I'm living my calling. If you get that right you can look forward to the time where you become the king that God has called you to be.

Be the best shepherd now!

Now Go!

Love you much.

Please feel free to leave your thoughts as I would love to hear from you.

Healthy Thinking Day 23 - Seeing the Future

How many of you know that you can see into the future???!!!

Hectic statement with our faith not believing in fortune telling. So here is the deal. I  cant tell you  your future but you can. Hebrews 11v1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen. So there you have it. your faith helps you see into the future and helps deliver the things to your now!

Romans 10v17 says "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Lets look at how we get to the place where we see the future as now and it becoming real.
In 2009 I arrived home late one evening as my flight was delayed from Cape Town. I slept in the next morning and at about 10am I received a phone call from one of my friends asking me to join them at the Vaal River for some fishing. I left my house at 11 and arrived at the river at about 12. Now the scene was set for a show down in fishing to see who could catch the most fish. My friends had been there from about 6am that morning already and hadn't caught anything. Once I had set up all my tackle I started calling the fish in. Now it may sound funny but I started telling my friends that there was a fish on the line and asking if they could see the line moving. even thou in reality it was dead still. After about 30 minutes of speaking faith and seeing the future it became the NOW!! I started pulling fish out of the water at a rate that my friends had to start helping me with my fishing rods and leave their own. I ended up catching the most fish that day as well as the biggest fish of the day.

Friends this may seem like a silly example but I believe the simplicity of it is what makes it so powerful. As I Continued to speak the fish onto my line I was hearing faith. Continually hearing the words fish come and the fish is biting started producing a reaction in the natural.

I encourage you today with any need that you may have, whether it be emotional, financial, relational or spiritual start speaking the outcome you want to see over those issues. The word of God is full of word to speak over our situations.

See your future. Speak your future. Live your future.

Now Go.

Healthy Thinking Day 22 - 3 steps to Count it all Joy

James 1 v 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance

I had a battle to do todays encouragement due to many factors but I hope it touches some and helps you stand strong through your trail and testing.
sometime we find ourselves encouraging others by mere lip service and not really considering what they are facing at that moment.

For those who are doing the encouraging. If a friend or family member has told you they are facing a situation that seems to big for them, before you say anything take a moment and put yourself in their shoes before you just quote scripture or start encouraging and motivating them. The reason I say this is because when I am telling someone I am battling with a need or a problem I truly want to know they are listening to me and not just shaking their head up and down to pretend. I try my best to listen to my friends and family if in need so that I don't just say word to encourage them but I put myself into their shoes to somewhat feel what they are feeling as to encourage with the right motive and hearts attitude.

For those who need encouragement. My friend. Where ever you may find yourself right now in the deepest darkest whole and you see no way out believe me when I say. Help is right there. Psalm 40:2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings. The head scripture for today is "count it all Joy" The reason we are to do this is due to the promises of God that says "His Joy is our strength" find your way back to the secret place today and worship God with all your might. He will take you out of the pit and put your feet on solid ground. The Rock JESUS CHRIST our saviour.

A few keys to count is all Joy.

Step 1: Psalms 100 - Enter His gates with thanksgiving into His courts with praise.

Step 2: Psalms 16 v 11 In his Presence there is fullness of joy.

Step 3: Nehemiah 8 v 10 the joy of the lord is my strength.

Now Go!

Healthy Thinking Day 21 - Doing Battle

Today I have a question to as you. Are you worrying about what you don't have or are you willing to do battle for what you want.

My wife and I were faced with a few challenges yesterday and as I was laying in bed last night this very question came to me. Are we going to worry about the situation or are we going to wage war and pray our way through.

Matt 11v12 and from the days of John the Baptis until now the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

If you remember on Day 19 we spoke about Gods kingdom to come here on earth and that we are to walk in the spirit. The same applies in the scripture. We are to have violent faith constantly advancing forward in regaining the things the enemy has stolen and also gaining new ground. Now I'm not saying go out an be violent. I'm saying be aggressive in your prayer. Don't be plasid in your prayer be powerful. James 5v16 (part b) the effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

That means our prayers have to come to pass because we are made righteous through the blood of Christ Jesus.

Friends take what's yours and live a life of blessings.

Now Go!

Wednesday 6 August 2014

Healthy Thinking Day 20 - The greatest Love of all.

I have a burning love in side my heart for God. I woke up this morning with a joy that I hadn't felt in a while. For some reason my wife had the same joy. I think we can attribute the joy to the amazing Home Group we had last night with our amazing church family. Gods presence was evident in the house and His anointing was there to destroy yokes and remove all burdens. We prayed for everyone and I truly believe that God showed up to meet with us. I look forward to hearing the testimonies of all those who were there last night. God will never fail us as the scriptures tell us that He is not a man that he should lie Numbers 23 v 19.

I call todays encouragement "the Greatest Love of All" Because the love that was displayed to us on the cross by a loving Father yet an undeserving Son is to great to explain. John 3 v 16 For God so loved the WORLD that he gave His only Son, who ever would believe on him, would have eternal life. A love so great that the entire existence and direction of mankind was changed from darkness to his marvellous light.

I would ask you today do you love well???? The cross was the ultimate sign of love but that happened over 2 millennia ago. how do we point people to the love of Christ??? We need to love well. Our faith in the crucifixion and resurrection proves that we love God the father His Son, Jesus Christ and our comforter the Holy Spirit, but our faith will not point the world to Jesus. OUR LOVE WILL.

I know ive spoken on love before but my heart over flows with it this morning so I had to share.

Point the world to Jesus by loving well.

Now Go!

Tuesday 5 August 2014

Healthy Thinking Day 19 - The Kingdom of God

I had it on my heart today to challenge you about your thinking and actions.

Galatians 5 v 16 say " so I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."

Its not always nice reading or hearing a scripture like that and I talk for myself as well. those are the scriptures we don't want to hear often because they challenge the way we think, act and live.

The scripture says we should walk by the Spirit of God. Now lets deal with that quick. HOW DO I WALK BY THE SPIRIT???? The answer is found in Gal 5 verse 22 and 23. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Therefore to walk in the Spirit is to walk with these attributes always showing up in your daily living and actions towards others.

Now lets talk about walking in the flesh. The answer is also found in the portion of scripture. Gal 5 verse 19 to 21. All the things that are opposite to what it means to walk in the Spirit. Lets take it a step farther!!! If we do anything that contradicts the word of God is walking in the flesh.

The reason we don't wan to walk in the flesh is because we want to inherit the kingdom of God. Some may think this means we wont see heaven one day but this is not the case. We wont inherit the Kingdom of God hear on earth. Lets look at a portion of The Lords Prayer. It says " Let your will be done and your KIMGDOM come here on EARTH as it is in heaven. My friends God wants us to live in heaven on earth while we occupy our earth suites. He wants us to have the best and be the best we can be while we live lives in awe of Him, Glorifying His name.

Today put aside the things of the flesh and walk in the Spirit so that you can live in the Kingdom of God (Heaven on earth)

Now Go!!!

Healthy Thinking Day 18 - Blessings for your Obedience.

So God is amazing and so faithful to us who are sometimes not. I was thinking this morning of all the good things He has done for my wife and I. Some of those blessings came at times where we were believing, some came very unexpectedly. But all of them came at the right time.

Deuteronomy 28 v 1 - 14 Speaks about the Blessings for obedience. its so amazing how God makes it easy for us to be blessed. All he requires from us is to HONOR His Word. Now lets deal with Honor quick. Honor is the value you place on something or someone. Imagine you have a bag full of gold or Dimonds. You really value that bag and would do anything to protect it and look after it. you would maybe carry it close to you. That is the same way you should look at your relationship with God and His word.

Now if you honor His Word you would do anything to Protect it and to do what it says to do. Once we get this right it becomes easy to be obedient. Once the obedience arrives the blessings follow. They go hand in hand.

Change your view of The Word today and honor it and watch the blessing follow.

Now Go!

Deuteronomy 28 New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

Blessings for obedience

28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands that I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock – the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. 11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity – in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground – in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

Healthy Thinking Day 17 - Don't run in front of the car - Tired

Gal 6 v 9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

How many times have we heard this scripture, yet we never allow the words to resonate and find a permanent place in our hearts.

I realize after a hectic week of ministry how easy it is to grow tired of all the good things we do. We don't grow tired of the good things but we do grow tired from doing them. our spiritual systems want to shut down and take a break for a while. This scripture is so true, in due season we will reap all the harvest from the seeds we have sown. The greatest reward for me at the end of the day is knowing that I am serving a mighty God and our Heavenly Father and I serve him well.

If you do find yourself in a place of exhaustion let me encourage you today. You are doing an amazing job. Try today to go into Gods thrown room and worship Him just because he is God. Think of all the good things he has done for you. Let yourself be consumed by His word by renewing your mind. do what it takes to get refreshed but whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE UP....

God is on your side and will come through for you.

Now Go!

Love you much.....
